Who we are
About Marni Pepper, PT
Registered Physiotherapist
Marni Pepper is a Registered Physiotherapist with over 25 years of experience. Graduating with honours from the University of Toronto in 1998, Marni has developed a diverse skill set across a variety of settings, making her a trusted professional in the field of physiotherapy.
Her extensive post-graduate education includes advanced training in manual therapies and exercise prescription. Marni has a particular passion for post-operative care, in recovery from total knee and hip replacements, fractures, ACL and meniscal repairs, and rotator cuff surgeries. This expertise was honed, in part, during her 10 years at the Canadian Knee Institute, where she worked closely with orthopedic surgeons at Rouge Valley Hospital.
Marni’s experience extends beyond clinic settings. She has worked in home care, focusing on post stroke recovery and fall prevention, as well as in unique environments such as the Cleveland Clinic Canada’s Executive Health program and Inmate Physiotherapy Services at the Don Jail. Additionally, she spent four years gaining pediatric orthopedic experience at Boomerang Health, a division of SickKids Hospital.
Marni is also a contributing author to Serious Strength Training, published in 1998. Her approach to physiotherapy is active and evidence-based, combining manual therapy, exercise prescription, therapeutic modalities, and preventative education to help her patients achieve long-term results.
Personal Interests
When she’s not in the clinic, Marni enjoys biking, CrossFit, downhill skiing, snowshoeing, and hiking with her two dogs, Charlie and Betty..
